This Big 4 Firm wanted to increase quality applications via their social channels. The key to social is to spark genuine conversation so we created hashtags, raised topics for discussion, offered advice and invited our audience to share their views. This introduced the brand in a different – and, crucially, more relevant – light. It was about making connections, not just making a point. And by using rich data, we were able to refine and perfect the targeting on a daily basis.
The brief was to attract seasonal associates to fulfilment centres across England, Scotland and France. How did we do it? With a geotargeting strategy that tapped into new audiences living close enough to commute, but too far to be reached via the usual city-focused advertising. We then used data to fine-tune the strategy in real time, optimising budget. The campaign exceeded all its objectives, and ultimately finished early because objectives were met in full.
Following the development of a new employer brand, this well-known drinks company was keen to promote its new messaging to both active and passive job seekers. We helped them promote it in a completely new way, making use of behavioural targeting and Google to reach defined audiences and influence their careers decision making. When a new central recruitment portal was set up to help 100s of SME logistics companies hire 1,000s of Delivery Drivers across Europe, we were asked to create, implement and manage the accompanying digital marketing plan. The aim? To raise awareness of the portal and ensure suitable Delivery Drivers signed up so that local recruiters could make contact with them.
Volume recruitment, at speed, for a new service launching in all major Australia cities? This called for more than simply digital-based acquisition marketing. We needed an approach that would build awareness as well. Hence executions in above-the-line media including radio, 7-Eleven digital posters and postcode letterbox drops. A brand survey taken before, during and after showed that awareness increased by 18% in just four weeks.
As launch partner for a new business initiative offering franchise opportunities across UK, Germany, Italy and France, we were tasked with driving expressions of interest from qualified leads. Our solution? A campaign focused on Google Display and social channels (to raise awareness) and Google Search (to convert users to expressions of interest). Not only did we meet all targets over the six-month campaign but we also reduced the initial cost per acquisition by a whopping 44%.
